Ms. BentzHello parents and students!
I am so excited to be your ESOL teacher this year! This will be my third year teaching at Dolvin Elementary. I received a bachelor's degree from Berry College in Early Childhood education as well as an ESOL endorsement. I have taught 5th grade math and science in Gwinnett County and 5th grade science in Dekalb County. Now I love teaching ESOL! I am very excited to work with families from all over the world and learn all about some new cultures while practicing skills in reading, writing, speaking, and listening to English! Other than teaching, I also enjoy swimming. I started swimming when I was 6 years old and continued through college. I have been a swim coach for 13 years and spend my summers at the pool cheering on my swimmers. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns at anytime throughout the year by clicking the email button on the home page, sending in a note, or scheduling a conference. There is also a parent liaison at Dolvin who can help translate! Lets get ready for a great school year dolphins! |
